Rooted Telemedicine is designed to enhance maternal healthcare by fostering a collaborative environment where midwives (CPMs/LMs) and clients can address specific health issues effectively. This program facilitates timely and efficient assistance from the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to resolve current health concerns while ensuring continuous communication with the primary midwife and patient. This open dialogue allows for informed decision-making regarding care options and follow-up, ultimately bridging gaps in maternal healthcare services.
The initiative emphasizes the importance of building a community of midwives who are committed to delivering comprehensive, individualized care from a holistic perspective. Our nurse midwife works closely with clients to explore both pharmaceutical and alternative treatment options, empowering them to make informed choices about their health.
Telemedicine services are currently available in Texas and Michigan, aiming to support midwives and clients in navigating the complexities of maternal health care with ease and professionalism.
Acute Visit
This is for issues that have been diagnosed and need prescriptions such as UTI, vaginal infections, hemorrhoids, mastitis, nausea and vomiting.
Price: $50-100
Continued Care
This is for issues that require follow up and more one on one counseling, including progesterone support, GDM monitoring, birth control.
Price: $200
Complex Visit
This is for women looking to improve their health, whether it be preconception, postpartum, or for an ongoing issue like hormone balance. This would include comprehensive labs and individualized plan of care for counseling in nutrition, lifestyle and nutrient supplementation.
