Midwife Ashlyn went above and beyond to ensure my prenatal care was thorough. Even though I had complications and was unable to have a home birth, she stayed by my side in the hospital to support me and give me peace of mind. I would recommend Ashlyn to anyone wanting to take the home birth route!

My husband and I feel extremely blessed to have found Ashlyn as our midwife. It is so evident that midwifery is her calling in the way that she cares for her patients. Each appointment leading up to and after birth I felt heard, valued, & well taken care of. She respected everything I wanted during my birth while making sure baby & I were healthy! I felt so safe having my first baby at home because of her confidence, experience & knowledge. She is absolutely going to be my midwife for all my future babies!

I had the pleasure of working with Ashlyn at my 3rd home birth recently and she was incredible. Since she is a mother herself, her experience, energy and support was exactly what I needed to get through the most intense parts of labor and delivery. Ashlyn is amazing! So knowledgeable and very helpful, which put me right at ease. She knew about a genetic disorder that I have, something which many doctors have no idea about. I was super impressed! I saw her for a wellness visit, and she did such a thorough job gathering information. She is really personal and gentle, not pushing me beyond my comfort level. She answered all my questions and wanted to get to know me. I felt valued and treated like a real person, not just a client. I would feel super comfortable entrusting her with my pregnancy and birth care also, someday. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with her! You will not regret it! Not to mention...you'll love the way her office is set up; it's so cute and adorable!!

Such a great midwife! Kept things calm during a stressful birth where I wound up having to be transferred to the hospital for a c-section. Kept up with us throughout our stay in the hospital and took great care of both me and baby for postpartum care. Highly recommend 🥰

My first birth was a traumatic hospital birth and not how I envisioned at all. I am so blessed to have found Ashlyn for baby #2. I can’t say enough amazing things about her and her team, from start to finish. They had such an amazing impact on me and my family to help me achieve my goals of having a home birth without interventions. She is side by side with you through the thick of childbirth to keep you safe and supported. 10/10 recommendations.

Choosing a home birth and Ashlyn as our midwife for my first birth was such an incredible experience and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I came to Ashlyn later on in my prenatal care after following my gut and deciding I was going to have a home birth. I had a lot of outside opinions weighing on me and family members not fully feeling comfortable with my decision to birth at home. Ashlyn made not only me feel 100% safe and comfortable but also all of my family. She has a wealth of knowledge and is so calm and collected. Throughout my pregnancy and care Ashlyn was always there to answer my questions, offer emotional support, and guide my partner and I through whatever we were going through that week. In the end I ended up having a precipitous labor which went way faster than I was expecting and all of my original home birth plans went out the window. I unexpectedly gave birth at my mother in laws house and Ashlyn adjusted and was there right alongside us making sure that both myself and baby were okay. I also felt so beyond supported in my postpartum care and it was such a beautiful and helpful experience to have Ashlyn come to our home for the postpartum checkups. Overall I had an incredible pregnancy and birth. Ashlyn helped us immensely and I highly highly recommend her midwifery care!

I used Ashlyn for my care during my 4th pregnancy (40 yrs old). I had my first two with Greenhouse Birth Center in Okemos (great experiences) and my third with Mclaren Hospital (bad experience). I developed pre-eclampsia at the very end of my third pregnancy so I was worried about it this go round. Ashlyn provided great care and dietary advice to prevent pre-eclampsia. I ended up having a great pregnancy and home birth.
